MULTIDISCIPLINARY ARTISTS
Dominic Kießling's life size installation integrates directly into the choreographic works, interacting with both the dancers and the architecture of the space. The changing forms of the installation mirror the dancers' movements, creating a dialogue between the physical and the ephemeral.
A special sound installation by d&b audiotechnik uses advanced spatial audio technology. By incorporating a three-dimensional soundscape specifically mapped to both the performers and installation, the spatial sound integration creates a truly immersive sensory experience.
THE PERFORMANCES
In Chasing Nothing, Shaked Heller and Ballet Sur_real will present a new choreographic creation, combining dance with a live musical performance by John Carlsson.
Shaked Heller has danced with the Zurich Ballet, Stuttgart Ballet, and now Staatsballett Berlin, performing works by Willam Forsythe, Jiří Kylián, and Sharon Eyal amongst others. He has been nominated multiple times as Dancer of the Year (tanz, Dance Europe) and Choreographer of the Year (tanz), with praise from The New York Times and Dance Europe.
John Carlsson is a composer and pianist whose sound fuses neoclassical with experimental electronica. Currently he is working on a new EP with renowned collaborators.
Ballet Sur_real, the official ballet ensemble of DANCÆ, focuses on combining ballet with electronic music, incorporating immersive installations and tech into their choreographic works.
